Inspired by ancient makers

Recently I have discovered a whole new world by learning new (to me) methods of hand building, using traditional Japanese techniques. 

I am embracing the beauty of imperfection, the constant surprise of the final outcome and the fact that an artist can only control the process to some degree, the kiln will do what it will, in ways that we cannot command.
